Naturopathic Medicine
Personalized care that combines modern medical knowledge with evidence-informed natural therapies.
Naturopathic medicine is a regulated form of primary health care that combines modern medical knowledge with evidence-informed natural therapies. Naturopathic Doctors in British Columbia are trained to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of health concerns using lifestyle medicine, clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, targeted supplementation, and functional laboratory testing within their regulated scope of practice.
Care is personalized to each patient and often focuses on identifying underlying factors that may be influencing health. By considering elements such as nutrition, stress, sleep, and lifestyle habits, naturopathic medicine supports patients in developing sustainable strategies that promote both immediate health improvements and long-term wellbeing.
