Registered Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapy is a regulated healthcare profession that uses hands-on techniques to assess and treat the body’s soft tissues and joints. RMTs are trained to address a wide range of conditions, from muscle tension and tissue injury recovery to stress management and chronic pain. Therapeutic benefits include improved circulation, reduced muscle soreness and stiffness, enhanced mobility, decreased stress and anxiety, and support for injury prevention and rehabilitation. By promoting both physical healing and relaxation, massage therapy helps restore balance to the body and supports overall health and well-being.

Naturopathic Medicine

Most extended health care plans cover services provided by a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. Some plans also include coverage for laboratory or diagnostic testing. Patients are encouraged to confirm coverage details directly with their extended health provider. For individuals with a Health Spending Account, visits to a naturopathic doctor are typically fully eligible expenses.

Naturopathic Doctors in British Columbia are trained to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of health concerns using lifestyle medicine, clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, targeted supplementation, and functional laboratory testing within their regulated scope of practice.

Dr. DaSilva currently practices within general naturopathic scope in British Columbia. At this time she is not yet certified for additional prescriptive authority beyond standard graduate-level prescribing, and she does not currently offer IV therapies
